On June 20, 2019, Mr. Fuchs, President of the University of Florida, hosted a reception/dinner for the UF executive board members and several of UF leadership’s team including Dr. David Nelson, Sr. Vice President For Health Affairs and the President of UF Health, as well as twenty of UF’s VIP donors in the Washington DC area, including Bill Hearl, CEO, Immunomic Therapeutics.
During the dinner program, President Fuchs spoke about his vision for UF 2025 and gave an update on their Go Greater Campaign. He also announced Immunomic Therapeutics’ generous commitment of up to $5M in support of Dr. Duane Mitchell and his team’s research surrounding malignant brain tumors. Dr. Mitchell was also in attendance as well.
A big thank you was given to Immunomic Therapeutics for the company’s commitment to UF’s research in brain tumors.
